STARS OF RSC

Wall of Champions

Our Wall of Fame celebrates the drivers who began their journey with RS Competition and have since moved on to the highest levels of motorsport — from Formula 1 to Hypercar. Their success is a reflection of our passion for developing true racing talent.

And if you think our success lies only in the past — think again. The list of drivers moving on from RS Competition is constantly growing. Talents like Bjerre (LMP3), Bach and Nissen (F4), Larsen (F5/LMP3), Rytter (Lamborghini Super Trofeo), Victor Nielsen, Tobias Clausen, and Oskar Kristensen (GT4), and Tim Tramnitz (F3) are just some of the names currently climbing the international ranks. The journey from RSC to professional racing continues — and we’re just getting started.

HISTORY

The history of RSC

RS Competition was founded in 2006 by Robert Schlünssen, following an impressive racing career that spanned top-level karting and single-seaters. After earning strong results in both German and European karting championships, Robert moved into Formula BMW and then the Formula Renault Eurocup, where he finished runner-up in 2003 — ahead of none other than Lewis Hamilton.

Aiming for Formula 1, Robert was part of a select group of Danish drivers tipped for the top, but when the national support program was shut down, he returned to karting to rediscover his passion for the sport. That passion became RS Competition, launched together with Ken “Guffi” Nielsen, a respected name in Danish karting.

Built on elite equipment, deep experience, and serious talent development, RS Competition has since become a dominant force — winning more national titles than can be counted on two hands. In 2024, the team celebrated a European crown with Casper Nissen in the Junior Rotax class.

Today, RS Competition continues to grow — both as a team and as a driver development platform.

With a base at Vojens Motorsport Arena and access to top-tier facilities like a full workshop, simulator, fitness center, and on-site karting circuit, the team provides everything young talents need to reach the next level.

Whether racing in Micro, Junior, or DD2, from national events in Denmark to European championships, RS Competition is committed to building the next generation of racing stars — one lap at a time.
